New York, New York, US – A man who dismissed concerns about the effects of the gender identity movement on women’s and girls’ privacy and safety in locker rooms and restrooms as “TERF fearmongering” and “fact-free drivel” was recently arrested for sexually soliciting seven-year-old and nine-year-old children. He is also under suspicion of repeatedly raping an 11-year-old girl.
38-year-old Peter Bright, a prominent reporter for Ars Technica, was accused by an FBI agent of meeting her in person with the intention of engaging in sexual activity with two children.
Mr Bright first made contact with the undercover FBI agent on April 18 through KinkD, a BSDM and fetish lifestyle network and dating app. The FBI agent posted a message in which she posed as a mother seeking someone to teach her children “the birds and the bees.”
The complaint shows that, under the username randomanon, Mr Bright initiated a correspondence with the agent, describing in detail how he’d like to “teach” the woman’s son and daughter “lessons” that would not necessarily be “heteronormative,” and would involve the children performing oral sex, and Mr Bright genitally penetrating the girl.
During the conversations, which later moved to WhatsApp, Mr Bright said he regularly sexually abuses an 11-year-old girl who lives in the Bronx, a complaint states. “I have a girl I’ve been teaching off and on for a couple of months now,” he allegedly wrote to the agent.
As the exchanges continued, Mr Bright sent photos of his bare genitals and STD test results to the FBI agent.
On May 22, Mr Bright met with the agent in Manhattan, and was arrested on the spot. He was charged with one count of attempted enticement of a minor to engage in illegal sexual activity.
Mr Bright has confessed that he discussed “engaging in sexual activity with minors,” according to a complaint filed against him by the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.
He is currently being held without bail at Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan.
Charges against Mr Bright will be upgraded to rape if authorities are able to encounter the child they believe he sexually abused.
I am shocked. @DrPizza is well known for his Microsoft reporting, and he’s an accused sexual predator. I feel physically sick that I’ve known this man for years and this is what he’s capable of. https://t.co/FMrnCAFV7d

Mr Bright, who uses the handle @DrPizza on Twitter – where he describes himself as “Poly/pan/pervy” – is an open advocate for the gender identity movement.
Mr Bright engaged in a 2018 Twitter debate with UK television actor Graham Linehan, who publicly critiques the modern gender identity movement as a risk to women’s and girls’ human rights. In the exchange, Mr Bright slammed concerns about the effects of the gender identity movement on women’s and girls’ privacy in restrooms and similar facilities as neither “reality-based” nor “well-founded.”
“TERF fearmongering about public restrooms was fact-free drivel,” Mr Bright tweeted on April 2, 2019.
Commenting on Mr Bright’s arrest for seeking to rape small children, Mr Linehan stated,
This is what we mean when we say that trans rights activism and ideology, in its currently fashionable form, is a men’s rights movement. It appears to benefit the most “vulnerable group in society”, but really it enables predatory or violent men to get away with far more, to trespass further and further into women’s spaces, without fear of being challenged.
What we have now is a situation where the ACTUAL Most Vulnerable Group in Society (children, especially girls) are being gaslit to such an extent that they have no idea if they will be called bigots for challenging a male in their spaces. Guidelines such as the ones above disempower women and girls to an extent I wouldn’t have thought possible in a modern Western society and progressive organisations and mainstream LGBT figures cheer it on at every step.
