Raleigh, North Carolina, US – A 29-year-old man who claimed in December to have been sexually assaulted by two women in the restroom of a bar has been arrested following accusations that he attacked a woman who entered a bar in search of help for an injured friend.

On June 11, a woman went into Halcyon, a bar in downtown Raleigh, to seek help for a friend who was injured due to a fall off a scooter. Seconds later, someone repeatedly grabbed the woman from behind, her complaint shows.

Geoffrey Jamal Lee, the suspect, was placed under arrest, and charged with assault on a female, a Class A1 misdemeanor punishable by up to 150 days in jail.

The suspect in this incident accused Amber N. Harrell, 38, and Jessica L. Fowler, 31, both of Raleigh, of an unrelated December 9 sexual attack at Milk Bar, a popular establishment also located in the downtown area.

According to Mr Lee’s complaint, he accessed the women’s restroom in order to check his hair and makeup. Mr Lee says Ms Harrell and Ms Fowler followed him in and locked the door behind themselves.

He engaged them in friendly banter, he claims, but one of the women grabbed his genitalia and asked if he had a penis, while the other woman lifted her shirt and asked, “Do you want to see my b–bs?” while exposing them. He says one of the women played with his wig, and that once the three exited the restroom, the two women fondled his buttocks and stomach near the bar area despite his protests.

Wake County Detention Center records show that the two women were charged with second-degree kidnapping, a felony, and misdemeanor sexual battery.

Mr Lee is expected to appear in court on June 15 to face the charges of assault against him by the woman he allegedly attacked.
