LGBTQ group cuts ties with Martina Navratilova
Recently, an LGBTQ organization severed ties with tennis legend, Martina Navratilova, because she expressed concerns with male trans athletes competing in women’s sports.
This nonprofit is known as Athlete Ally, whose mission is supposedly to end rampant homophobia in sports and support equality.
When Martina Navratilova spoke out on the issue, they removed her as their organization’s ambassador and from their advisory board.
Martina Navratilova has put in the activism work
Martina Navratilova knows what it’s like to overcome prejudices and stereotypes.
Martina Navratilova, who’s considered one of the greatest female tennis players in the history of the sport, has been campaigning for gay and lesbian rights since she came out in the 1980s.
Martina Navratilova has endured a lot of personal abuse since coming out as one of the first openly gay or lesbian athletes – but she did something the LGBTQ would never do.
She gave up millions of dollars in endorsements and sponsorship. She did this because she has integrity and honest, as she says on her personal website.
Martina Navratilova was right about men having an unfair advantage
And that they were based on false understanding of science and data.
Here’s the scoop, LGBTQ. Men are born with larger bone structures. Greater lung capacity. Have higher amounts of fast-twitch muscle fibers, allowing them to lift more, move faster, and last longer during sports activities.
A man can take all the hormones he wants, and it still won’t reverse the advantages he was born with.
He’s still going to win all the competitions, and earn a small fortune.
And as far as I’m concerned, Martina Navratilova didn’t disrespect men who are trying to become women, because she even said, she’d address a man trying to become a woman in whatever form he prefers. She just wouldn’t want to compete against him.
Athlete Ally Lacks Integrity
Athlete Ally can complain all they want.
They can talk about lack of respect all they want.
Can try to convince us how men can take hormones and eliminate their unfair advantages, such as larger bone structures and higher amounts of fast-twitch muscle fibers.
But there’s one thing that Athlete Ally cannot do.
You can’t change our minds about what the differences are between a man and a women.
There’s no way that you can deny the facts that more men who are tying to become women win in women’s sports, thus taking away real women’s rights to be champions.
And you can’t change the fact that if you ever want to be accepted in society, gain respect and have other support your cause, you have to play by the same rules and be fair.
If I were Martina Navratilova, I wouldn’t be upset one bit with getting away from such a negative and abusive group as Athlete Ally.
I have a problem with the Athlete Ally group
Here’s what I have a problem with. It’s not that the organization didn’t agree with Martina Navratilova, but the fact that they silenced her right to express how she feels about men competing against women in women’s sports. Martina Navratilova is speaking out in defense of women’s rights.
I’ve seen videos where men who identify as women have threatened, sworn, and damaged business property, because someone called him a “sir” instead of a “ma’am.” One man punched a woman in the face, knocking out her teeth, because she questioned his presence in the women’s restroom.
Many LGBTQ want society to accept them for who they are, and allow them to practice freedom of speech and pursuit of happiness. But as soon as a woman tries to do the same thing, or stand up for women’s rights, all the LGBTQ come from every direction imaginable to complain about how they are being violated.
In order to be taking seriously, you must follow your same rules. You have to talk and act respectfully towards others. And if your group members keep causing havoc in public and violating others’ rights, of course nobody is going to accept your cause.
In order to be treated fairly, you have to play fairly.
Now if you want to talk about dangerous myths and targeting trans people through discriminatory laws, hateful stereotypes and violence, then let’s talk.
